The Servers
The role of the servers is to enhance the celebration of the Blessed Sacrament. They are involved in the prepataion for worship which takes place prior to Sundays when they come and clean all the items to be used in the celebration. Then they are responsible for preparing and setting the items in the sanctuary prior to worship. When worship is ended their task is not done until everything is cleaned and properly put away.
During the act of worship through their precise movement and carrying of various items e.g. Candles and turible they add beauty to the act of worship.
Their overall task is to assist the priest in the delivery of a well prepared and executed liturgy.
